The Andy Fund of Kingston was formed in June 2000 and is named after Andy George, an 8-year-old Kingston boy who died of leukemia in 1983 and whose memory inspires us.

It is a totally volunteer organization, dedicated to raising funds for cancer-related projects in Kingston and the surrounding area. It has been granted charitable status and derives all its funding from members' fees, donations, sale of our Christmas cards and fund raising events. We are also grateful to the many generous sponsors who have helped make our events both fun and financially successful.

The Andy Fund is proud to have supported many local cancer - related projects, and welcomes suggestions for others, large and small. We are constantly seeking opportunities within our mandate where we can be of help.

The Andy Fund is a true community organization, working to help those living with cancer as well as those working to find a cure for this disease. Our volunteers enjoy getting involved in a variety of ways – everything from problem solving to making a few jars of chutney for our Christmas shop. We invite your enquiries and suggestions and welcome new members.
