H'art Studio presented the original musical 'The Aardv'ARK', written by Kathryn MacKay, Dawn Diamond and Rob Torr and directed by Jennifer Radford Gibson on April 29 & 30 at McArthur Hall Auditorium. The cast included over 40 special needs participants and began rehearsing a year ago. The play was a fanciful retelling of the Noah's ARk story. It started at the studio with the actors playing themselves, disappointed because bad weather has forced the cancellation of an outing. To amuse themsleves, they propose to tell the story of the ark, but with a twist: All the characters are animals. The Kingston Whig Standard covered this story in the main section.
