The Annual Report is now available and copies are on the table in the Narthex. Please print your name on the sheet provided when you pick up a copy. Bring your copy with you next week to the Annual Congregational Meeting.

- Monthly Diners Club
-
The monthly Diners Club dinner at Glenburnie United Church is offered by the Southern Frontenac Community Services Corporation. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy fellowship with the community and there is always live entertainment. The price is $11.00 per person for a big, hot, nutritious meal of baked chicken, roasted potatoes, carrots and peas, creamy coleslaw and Chocolate Brownie Delight. We need to know by Monday, January 30, at noon if you are coming to eat on Wednesday, February 1, at noon. Please see the Southern Frontenac Community Services site for contact information.

Please bring in unused eye glasses for developing countries, used postage stamps for aiding Canadian Guide Dogs and Campbell's soup labels for education equipment within public schools. Please continue to collect and deliver pop cans to Habitat for Humanity, 323 Bath Road, to help build homes for those in need.

Each Presbytery is invited to name one delegate, aged 15 to 20, to the Youth Forum. Youth Forum delegates have the opportunity to share their gifts and insights with the General Council while growing in their own community. If you know of a potential candidate, please see the notice on the Official Board Notice Board in the church hall.

The Theology Program at Queen's School of Religion will host its second of two open houses on 7 February. This is of particular interest to those thinking of studying theology.

We have started updating the member's board in the community hall and hope within the coming months members and families will have their photos taken free of charge. If you prefer to submit a recent family photograph, or an old family photograph with past members still mentioned, please drop a 3x5 off with names and date taken to the church office.

- Hotel Dieu Coat Drive

Hotel Dieu Hospital Annual Coat Drive is looking for gently used winter coats, and our greatest need is for men's all weather coats. People in need are provided a comfortable, dignified area to shop at no cost for their warm outer wear with the help of volunteers each weekday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please contact the Pastoral Care Department at 544-3400 ext. 2231 for more information.

We have designated the fourth Sunday of each month as Food Bank Sunday. On that Sunday, please bring non-perishable food and we will get your donations to the Partners in Mission Food Bank.

Remember to check the church bulletin board for upcoming events in the area. Currently there is a notice about spring auditions for new members to join the Kingston Symphony. There is another notice about retreats and day camps for adults for the summer and fall. There is also a list of all the upcoming events and programs held by the Bereaved Families of Ontario.

Presbytery meets on the third Tuesday of the month, September through June. Minutes of the meetings are put into a binder that is accessible in the Church Office, and anyone interested can peruse them there.
